TechGen Financial Announces the Certification of Philip L. Stockton by the CFP Board

Sharon, MA, June 16th, 2011 – Philip L. Stockton, CFP®, CCPS, Principal of  TechGen Financial in Sharon, MA has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and CFP (with flame design)® in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.  Mr. Stockton specializes in working with families and small business owners to help them plan for funding children’s college education, building a unique retirement and investment strategy, and optimizing their estate plans to meet their desired goals. “My role is to help transform my client’s lives from living to work to living a lifestyle. These marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas:  the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.  CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
